Iowa Licensed Interpreter Listing

As a service to the community, we have created a searchable listing of licensed interpreters from the public data file provided by the Iowa Board of Sign Language Interpreters and Transliterators. If you would like a copy of that raw data file, it is available here from the Board's website. They also provide their own search service based on last name or license number. This listing is an unofficial listing based on public data released by the Board.

Important Update

The Board of Sign Language Interpreters and Transliterators has finally begun releasing their public data file again after suspending their public data file service in March 2007. They were transitioning to a new computer system. Now that the public data files are available again, our listing will now be up to date. If you have any address changes, name changes, etc., please direct those requests to the Iowa Board of Sign Language Interpreters and Transliterators. All data in this listing is from their public data file. If you have other questions, please contact us.

Just as a reminder, Pass It On Services does not provide interpreting services. We only provide translation and document editing services. If you wish to hire an interpreter, you can use these listings to contact an interpreter directly or you can contact a sign language interpreting agency near you.

The search tools below will help you search the interpreter listing by name, city, or county. Based on the latest download from the IDPH site on Mon March 3, 2008, there are a total of 334 interpreters licensed to work in the State of Iowa (210 with a temporary license and 124 with a full license).
